Start To The Season

The season has officially begun, and I am loving every minute of it. It's great to be back on the field with the guys and playing the game I love. Whether you are in Atlanta, New York, or Kansas City, baseball is baseball. It's the same game I've played since I was a little boy in the backyard. We are off to a good start, but I want to stay focused and keep this thing rolling. I am trying to continue to stay positive and continue to try and get better every step of the way. I think the whole team understand that it's a long season, and it's important to take one game at a time and stay focused on the overall goal of the Royals. I love playing with these guys and I hope we keep this going all season!

Spring Training Approaching

I hope all is well with all of my fans. We are quickly approaching the 2011 Baseball Season, and I can already smell the outfield grass. Gotta love it! While we don’t report for a couple more weeks, I feel like I am in really good shape and ready to roll. I hope all my teammates are enjoying their last couple weeks at home with their families but also getting ready for a big season. For the fans out there, who do you like in the Super Bowl? I love Aaron Rodgers, but the Steelers defense is going to be tough!

Happy New Year!

Hi Guys,

I hope everyone out there had a Merry Christmas. Looking back on it, my favorite things about Christmas have got to be the food, the bowl season, and seeing the whole family. It is truly a special time of year. Anyway, Let's get on with this new year! I'm pumped about 2011. There is so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to this year. Honestly, I am 100% confident in my decision to sign with Kansas City, and I think it is going to pay off once the season rolls around. I am looking forward to 2011, and I plan on making it my best year so far!
