Right fielder set to help take-off numerous new media initiatives for airline

ATLANTA, March 18, 2008 – Atlanta Braves Gold Glove outfielder Jeff Francoeur has signed a new multi-year extension with Delta Air Lines, continuing the relationship between Atlanta's biggest airline and one of the city's premiere athletic stars.

The airline and Francoeur will further their relationship with a number of unique new media initiatives. Throughout the season, Francoeur will be a regular contributor to the Delta Air Lines blog, as well as participating in video features for Delta's YouTube channel. Delta will also be featured prominently on the soon-to-be launched www.JeffFrancoeur.com. In addition, Delta will continue to donate 25,000 Sky Miles for every home run Francoeur hits to charities of his choice, as well as incorporate the right fielder in promotional appearances throughout the year. Francoeur and Delta have had a partnership since 2006.

"I'm excited to continue my relationship with Delta," said Francoeur. "Delta is an integral part of the Atlanta community. "I'm really looking forward to being able to share my experiences this season with readers – and Delta flyers – around the world."

"For Delta to be able to donate so many Sky Miles per home run is really a testament to the kind of company they are," Francoeur said. "The support that Delta shows the Atlanta community is second to none and I'm proud to affiliate with a company that cares so much about the city of Atlanta."

"Jeff is a dedicated and proven team leader who knows the importance of giving back to the Atlanta community and its loyal fans," said Jaime Jewell, Delta's General Manager of Sponsorships and Brand Activation. "We're proud to continue our association with him and thrilled to have him on the Delta team. This year, we'll partner with Jeff to create more new and unique ways to connect him with his fans."

Francoeur's web site will also offer fans a unique look into the life of one of baseball's up and coming super stars. The site will feature unique editorial content, behind the scenes video content, and constant updates from Francoeur throughout the season.

Francoeur won his first Gold Glove award in 2007, leading the major leagues with 19 outfield assists. Playing in every game for the second consecutive season, Francoeur hit .293 with 19 home runs, 105 RBI, and 84 runs scored. Since his debut in the majors on July 7, 2005, Francoeur leads all players with 45 outfield assists.
