The 2008 MLB All-Star ballots are out! Fans can visit http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/y2008/ballot_reg.html to vote for Atlanta Braves right fielder Jeff Francoeur on the National League ballot.
Francoeur currently holds the longest active streak of games started in all of Major League Baseball at 356. Through Monday, May 5, Francoeur’s 11 doubles are tied for second among National League outfielders. A 2007 Gold Glove recipient, Francoeur leads the Braves in at bats (123), doubles (11) and ranks second in RBI (20).
The 2008 MLB All-Star game will be held July 15, 2008 at Yankee Stadium in New York City. It will be the 79th “Midsummer Classic” in MLB history, and the fourth MLB All-Star game to be held in Yankee Stadium.
Fans can vote up to 25 times for their favorite players at http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/events/all_star/y2008/ballot_reg.html. Voting ends at 11:59 pm EDT on July 2.
